Our winemakers build TWO2 to drink on release, and the aim is to please from the start. Two Squared Red Wine Napa Valley 2019 is a delicious example of immediate gratification, a debut expression of pure Napa Valley fruit with lush oak accents and a broad, lingering finish. This version boasts Cabernet from some of the Valley’s most respected AVAs, with contributions from Atlas Peak, Rutherford, Oakville, Oak Knoll and Spring Mountain, and a judicious sprinkling of the other four Bordeaux varietals wraps the entire package in a tidy bow!
We are always on the lookout for the next big thing. It’s often small growers with small parcels that excite our team the most, and we found a Cabernet Sauvignon showstopper! Brambly black cherry fruits and sweet, dark berries get a generous oak infusion to elevate and enhance the entire flavor profile. We started our relationship by experimenting with a one-ton parcel and took over the entire vineyard the following year (its that good)!
Bright flavors of Bartlett pear, golden berries and pineapple speak to the natural flavor balance of cool-climate grapes bathed in radiant sunshine. Gentle barrel fermentation and French oak yield seductive notes of brioche and pastry cream on the finish.
It’s often natural beauty that’s the most remarkable. This mindset guides our winemaking philosophy for TWO2 “Unoaked”, and our Chardonnay fruit must stand alone in its quest for sophisticated palate pleasure. With precise vineyard control from budbreak to harvest, in 2021, our team was able to coax layers of ripe green apple, pear and honeysuckle flavors from a sensational cool-climate vineyard in Sonoma’s Knights Valley. With no oak to compete for attention, it’s simply ripe fruit and beams of acidity racing to the refreshing finish.
The debut vintage of Two Squared Rosé Napa Valley is a delicious blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. Meant to be youthfully vibrant, this Rosé exudes a soft style and fresh, concentrated fruit with flavors of melon and pomegranate.
