About the Vineyard

Our inaugural release of Two2 Cabernet Sauvignon Oak Knoll is a showcase of the west side of the appellation, a tiny nook tucked against Napa Valley’s Mayacamas foothills. These phenomenal grapes used to be a component in one of Napa Valley’s signature reds (you wouldn’t believe it if we told you), however they dropped the ball on the contract… their loss is your gain!

Production techniques

Handpicked grapes are fermented only in stainless steel tanks and at a higher temperature to reach a darker fruit profile and polished tannins.

Vintage Notes

2018 was a dream growing season and harvest for Napa Valley. An abundance of rain in February was followed by continuous days of sunshine and mild temperatures that made for uniform vines and even cluster growth. With no major heat spikes to contend with, there was no need to rush through harvest. Cooler temperatures allowed us to pick when we wanted, without stress and under optimal conditions. The gift from Mother Nature translated to wines that not only have great concentration but also an amazing freshness!
